Q: How do I start selling with you?
A: Simply follow these easy steps:
- Register your details with us
- Click on sell
- Complete the vehicle description
- Attach your photos
- Click on list now
Q: What are the fees?
A: £39.00 plus VAT. If your car/LCV does not sell you can re-list it, you will only get charged once.
Q: What happens if my car/LCV did not meet the reserve?
A: If the reserve is not met, the auction ends but you are given the option to re-list the vehicle.
Q: What do I do if I have forgotten my password?
A: Use the forgotten password facility, which is shown under the sign-in box. A new password will be provided automatically on receipt of your email.
Q: How do I pay you for the car/LCV that sold online?
A: You will receive an invoice once the auction ends containing the vehicle details and our payment terms, which are strictly 30 days.
Q: Can I remove my car/LCV from the auction, once it’s started?
A: : You can only remove your vehicle from the auction if no bids have been placed. Once a bid has been placed it is not possible to stop the auction.
Q: If a buyer wants to ask a question about my car/LCV are they able to do so?
A: Yes they are. We will receive the question and will forward it to you for answering.
Q: How long can I list my car/LCV for?
A: You can list a vehicle for anything from one to ten days.
Q: How many photographs can I put on the site?
A: A maximum of 10.
Q: If the car/LCV has a fault with it, can I still list it?
A: Yes, but you must be honest within the vehicle description.
Q: What will happen when a trader wins my car/LCV?
A: You will receive a sold confirmation via email, with the trader’s details. The trader will get in touch with you to arrange payment and collection.
Q: What payment method should I accept?
A: We recommend the following, but all payments are your responsibility:
- BANK TRANSFER - must be cleared in your bank account for one working day before release of the car/LCV.
- DEBIT CARD - (Maestro / Delta)
- BANKERS DRAFT – must be authenticated with the issuing branch (if not, allow five working days for the funds to clear before release of the vehicle).
- CASH - totally at your discretion.
Q: What does the trader need to provide when picking up the car/van?
A: Only the email confirmation that they received as the winning bidder.
Q: What will happen if the trader says the car/LCV is not as described on collection?
A: This is something you will need to resolve with the trader.
Q: What documents should I provide with the car/LCV?
A:. All documents that you have stated in your listing.
Q: Do I need to provide the V5 for my car/LCV?
A: If you have listed it saying it’s present, then yes.
Q: What if I haven’t got a service book, hand book and spare key?
A: Ensure that you have not listed saying they are available.
Q: How do I get my car/LCV to be on the home page?
A: This is a random function, based on newly listed and ending soonest. We do not have the space on the home page to show all vehicles.
